During the development of the TORMENTINA collection, several versions of this bag were made, tested, worn, set aside, and remade. Straps were moved. Proportions were questioned. The hardware changed shape more than once.
This piece is part of that journey. It is a prototype not a flaw, but a witness. It carries the decisions made along the way, the hands that worked on it, the doubts that made it better. The sailcloth came from ES MON, a boat that crossed 2,471 nautical miles before it became this. The leather is what was left over from CECCHI DE ROSSI bags nothing wasted, nothing invented. Even the color came slowly, through the PELLEVINO process, patient and unrepeatable.
