Agapanthus
Inspired by the flowers of the Agapanthus genus, this piece reproduces the distinctive umbel inflorescence, with individual blooms gathered into a single cluster at the top of the stem.
The petals are crafted from vegetable-tanned leather, worked in deep aubergine and dark plum tones, with natural shading that enhances the depth of colour. Details in lighter, taupe-toned leather recall the bracts and inner petals, while the stem branched and gently curved is hand-finished to reproduce the natural texture of the plant.
Each flower is individually assembled and applied to the central branch, resulting in the richness and irregularity characteristic of the original floral composition.
Cecchi de Rossi Flowers
Born from the offcuts of our bag-making process: pieces of vegetable-tanned leather that, rather than going to waste, find a second life. Each petal is cut, shaped and assembled entirely by hand, following the same artisanal care we apply to every piece of leather goods bearing our name.
The base is crafted in wood by Passoni Design and finished with Pellevino®, our patented natural dyeing process using wine and other natural extracts — the same technique that defines the chromatic identity of all our creations.
The result is a decorative object designed to last: it requires no water, no exposure to light, and with the simple precaution of avoiding moisture and direct heat sources, it retains its structure over time. A detail to bring into the home, the office, anywhere you wish to add a touch of colour with the same attention to material we reserve for our accessories.
