Anemone Black
Inspired by the flowers of the Anemone genus, this piece captures the striking contrast that defines this bloom: broad, rounded petals encircling a dense, dark centre of fine filaments.
The petals are crafted from vegetable-tanned leather in a deep, glossy black, with the natural grain of the material left visible across each surface and the raw edge exposed in a warm, natural tone. At the centre, a cluster of fine leather strands in yellow and ochre reproduces the stamens, gathered around a dark, velvet-textured core.
The stem, slender and gently curved, is hand-finished in black to echo the flower's tonal depth, holding the bloom upright with the same quiet, graphic presence that defines the piece.
Cecchi de Rossi Flowers
Born from the offcuts of our bag-making process: pieces of vegetable-tanned leather that, rather than going to waste, find a second life. Each petal is cut, shaped and assembled entirely by hand, following the same artisanal care we apply to every piece of leather goods bearing our name.
The base is crafted in wood by Passoni Design and finished with Pellevino®, our patented natural dyeing process using wine and other natural extracts — the same technique that defines the chromatic identity of all our creations.
The result is a decorative object designed to last: it requires no water, no exposure to light, and with the simple precaution of avoiding moisture and direct heat sources, it retains its structure over time. A detail to bring into the home, the office, anywhere you wish to add a touch of colour with the same attention to material we reserve for our accessories.
